I know how devastating a diagnosis of cancer is to a family. I am a breast cancer survivor, and in May 2013 my daughter was diagnosed with inflammatory breast cancer (IBS). She went home to be with the Lord on December 13, 2013.
I got to spend 35 years with my daughter, and I often think if she had been a child how much more devastating the diagnosis would have been. My heart goes out to parents of children with cancer, and other life-threatening diseases, so here at WDP we want to do what we can to help some of these families.
