​Manuscript Transcription Services

WDP provides affordable transcription services for authors, including manuscripts and memoirs. Our low cost transcription rates enable self-publishing authors to use professional transcription services that were previously only affordable to businesses and people with deep pockets. 

We use The Writer's Digest Guide to Manuscript Formats as our reference guide. We are able to prepare your book manuscript, magazine articles, short stories, poems, plays, movie and TV scripts all to the specifications given in this guide, which is the industry standard. 

All recordings are proofread and Internet research is carried out to identify names, scripture or terminology. There is no extra charge for this service.  We can transcribe a wide range of digital recordings including the most popular formats of WAV, MP3, and WMA.

Pricing

• $1.37 per audio minute. 
• Poor quality or difficult to understand audio, highly technical terminology, or 'strict verbatim' style, is $1.50 per audio minute. 
  (Note: Quality of audio source could affect actual turn around time and transcription results.) 
  Rush jobs: Add 25%.
• Typical turnaround for manuscript work is 2 weeks; 
• Rush charge = 150% (two weeks or less). 
• 50 percent deposit is required, with the balance due on return of the completed project to you.
• We accept PayPal (credit card okay without a PayPal account).
