A well-designed book is critical to your success as an author. Underestimating the importance of professional typesetting and layout of your book is a big mistake because it can affect the readability of your book — which will affect your book sales. Many people think they can bypass this phase to save money, only to end up with a book that literally looks thrown together. Professionally designing the interior of a book is not as simple as one might think. In fact, typesetting a book so that it looks professionally done is quite time-consuming, and it requires skill and patience. A professional book designer such as WDP will make adjustments, page by page, to solve the problems while keeping the line spacing consistent throughout the book.
After all the time and effort, you've spent perfecting the content of your self-published book, you owe it to yourself to make sure it looks professionally formatted too. For authors who want the professional look, but don't want to deal with the tedious demands of interior book design WDP offers affordable book typesetting, layout and design. With more than 30 years of experience I can professionally format your book giving it the extra edge it needs at a competitive price. All projects are quoted on an individual basis after review of your manuscript.
Please note: I will always need to review your files before I can issue your quotation. A 50% deposit is required to start work and the balance is due upon approval of the work. All credit and debit card payments are made by PayPal. The exact price of your job depends on the length and complexity of your book. Books that do not contain complex formatting, interior images, subheads, footnotes, endnotes, tabular composition, or other non-text elements will be less than books with elements that take more time to format, such as pull quotes, sidebars, text boxes, complex tables, two-column layouts, a large number or graphics or images, fill-in-forms, or other items that will require a complex layout.
