Rates
I charge per word, so it's easy to estimate how much my service will cost you. Simply multiply your word count by the rate to estimate the cost.

• Substantive Editing → $0.032 per word
• Copyediting → $0.027 per word
• Light Proofreading → $0.022 per word

I will need to look at your manuscript to see what level of editing your project needs. I will offer my lowest possible rate (usually a package).

Best for manuscripts that have already been edited and need a final quality check.

The completion time depends on my work schedule and the complexity of your work and does not include the time needed for author revision.  To retain my editing service, there is a 50% down payment (based on estimate) to reserve the block of time for your project due before editing begins. ​   ​
