About WDP
My name is Angeline Williams, the owner of Williams DocuPrep. I started working in the printing and publishing industry in 1980 at a small newspaper company in Miami, Florida, as a typesetter, layout artist, and proofreader. From there, I worked at another newspaper, magazine publishers, and printing companies.
Always wanting to start my own business, in 1993, while working for a printing company during the day, one of the customers there asked if I wanted to own my own business, and I said yes. He asked me for my phone number and address, which I was skeptical about sharing but felt I should. A few days later, he called and said I should come outside because he had something for me. I did, and he opened his trunk and had a computer, laser printer, and fax machine. He told me I was now in business, and he was my first client. I was shocked! God had used him to answer a prayer and give me the desire of my heart.
I would come home and work in the evening typesetting and designing documents for my clients, which included several funeral homes, printing companies, and ministers who were writing books, manuals, and devotionals and wanted to have them printed. Soon I started receiving calls from others who wanted to publish books. I spoke with many authors who had paid thousands of dollars to self-publish their books, who had literally been taken advantage of. Many of these authors were tied into contracts, which gave up a good portion of their book's earnings and some of their rights. My heart went out to them. So, I prayed and asked God to send the people He had given a message to that He wanted to publish books, and He does.
For me, Williams DocuPrep is a ministry assignment! My primary vision for Williams DocuPrep is to assist authors, speakers, and nonprofits publish professional, trade-quality books that edify, equip, and encourage people to live their God-given purpose. Books that let the world know we serve a tangible, loving God. To set authors up to earn ALL their book's profits and not pay thousands to do it.
My clients are Christian and inspirational entrepreneurs, speakers, preachers, teachers, business owners, and counselors who:
