Genres We Accept
Williams DocuPrep accepts unsolicited manuscripts. We exist solely to proclaim the gospel through publishing and other means to bring people to Christ. We accept the following types of books.

Autobiography: An autobiography is a biography written by the person who is the subject. The author writes his or her own life story. Autobiographies can be about people who are alive or dead.
Business: Books in the business nonfiction genre are about the management and running of a business, or the financial aspects of a business. They can include how to start, own, and run a successful business, touching on marketing, taxes, etc. Child Guidance: Books in the child guidance genre are about helping parents deal with and instruct difficult children, as well as helping guide parents of special needs children who might have behavior issues because they are misunderstood or can’t communicate well. Children's: These books are defined as material written or produced for the information or entertainment of children or young. Christian Nonfiction: Books in the Christian nonfiction genre are about the real-life applications of integrating Christian faith into everyday routines. They share inspirational and encouraging stories of people combined with scripture, or they can be stories about religion and its origins and beliefs. Cookbooks: Cookbooks are kitchen reference guides with instructions on the preparation and cooking of food. Cookbooks include step-by-step instructions on anything from selecting the best quality ingredients to easy-to-follow instructions that teach beginner cooks new recipes. Creative Nonfiction: This genre embraces the idea that true stories and fact can be told in an interesting and creative way; it drops the idea that everything that is fact has to be technical, dry, and boring. |
Family Book: Books in the family nonfiction genre deal with and help families that have complications. They can be about helping families deal with special needs children, the aging, and sickness of a parent, divorce, abuse, or the extra care a family member might need because of a disability.
Finance and Money: Books in the finance and money nonfiction genre can be about how to balance one’s finances or the processes of financing and financial institutions, stocks exchange, the banking system, trades, financing, economics, lending, and money itself. How-to: Books in this genre explain how-to do, make, use, fix, repair, or accomplish something. They help non-experts perform specific tasks. Inspirational Nonfiction: These books have Christian themed content and are often a recollection of a religious experience that proves in some way that God does exist and that He is watching over humanity. I call them testimony books. Memoir, Life Tribute: Similar to the autobiography genre, the memoir genre is written more out of memory of the author and how they felt during that time; it also consists of other people who had an influence on their lives. Memoirs are made up of more of the stages of life than exact recorded details and events; they’re more subjective than autobiographies. Women’s and Men's Issues Genre: These books are about anything that is significant to women or men. They are informative and encourage the discussion, knowledge, and understanding of issues that are important in some way to women, how they live, and how they’re treated. ... and more |
