Writing a book isn’t easy. A lot of work goes into self-publishing a book. After it’s written, someone needs to edit the manuscript. Then the manuscript must be formatted (typeset) and made ready for printing. While this is going on a cover must be designed. Paperback or Hardcover books, then have to be printed (I recommend POD), distributed and sold. Then the book needs to be marketed to readers, which can be time-consuming.
Many self-publishing authors try to do all of these tasks themselves and find the process overwhelming or only to end up with a nonprofessional homemade looking book and then there are those authors who want their book to reflect the hard work they put into, so they outsource some or all of the tasks to a professional self-publishing service provider like me. I especially love books that let the world know we serve a tangible, living God who cares about us. I primarily work with faith-based, memoirs, and business books, but I accept a wide range of genres, fiction, and non-fiction as long as the content is clean, and does not go against Christian values. As your Author’s Assistant I can also take care of some or all of your admin tasks such as (sending information about the authors/books to those who request it, updating websites, mailing out prizes, organizing spreadsheets and more) to marketing tasks (reaching out to reviewers, creating press releases, newsletters and other media). My author service is tailored to your situation and your vision (what you want your book to do). You might think a personalized, professional service this would cost an arm and a leg, and with some companies it can run into thousands of dollars. However, my rates are significantly lower than most self-publishing service companies because I don't believe authors should pay thousands to self-publish their book.
